TDLR will be holding a tow inspection round-up for Dallas and surrounding counties today, Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. located at the City of Dallas parking lot, 100 South Good Latimer Expressway, Dallas. All tow companies are invited to attend and this inspection will satisfy the TDLR required biennial inspection.
Tow Truck inspections will require the following documentation:
- Tow operator's license
- Drug Tests - bring results of all drug tests (pre-employment, annual and random)
- Cab card
- Proof of liability insurance
Tow Company inspections will require the following documentation for Consent Tows:
- Drug test consent form
- Proof of all drug tests (pre-employment, annual and random)
- Tow operator's license
- Proof of liability insurance
- Cab card
Tow Company inspections will require the following documentation for Private Property and Incident Management Tows:
- Drug test consent form
- Proof of all drug tests (pre-employment, annual and random)
- Tow operator's license
- Proof of liability insurance
- Cab card
- 10 non-consent tow tickets and all records that are associated with these tickets for July 2012; 10 tow tickets and all records that are associated with these tickets for December 2013; and 10 tow tickets and all records that are associated with these tickets for May 2014. For those companies that have never been inspected, please bring 20 non-consent tow tickets, or, if the company has less than 20 non-consent tow ticket, please bring them all.
